Erica Spiegelman is an author, addiction and wellness specialist, and motivational speaker who works with individuals, couples, and families on personal growth and overall wellness. Erica provides a holistic approach to helping people overcome their struggles with addictions and dependency and gives them the tools they need to create healthy lives for themselves.
In April 2015, Hatherleigh Press published Rewired: A Bold New Approach to Addiction & Recovery, which offers a completely new treatment modality focused on how individuals can rewire their brains, change their behavior, and bring about positive change in their lives. Praised by experts in the field, Rewired debuted as Amazon’s number one new release among drug and alcohol addiction books.
In 2017, the Rewired Workbook was published (Hatherleigh Press). This practical manual uses a simple framework of readings and introspective exercises to help readers emerge feeling more centered and able to face their addictions head-on.
In 2017, Erica created the Rewired Coloring Book (Hatherleigh Press), a meditative tool that can help people relax, increase emotional awareness, and aid in recovery. It’s a perfect tool for people of all ages who want to tap into their creativity and become more in touch with their thoughts and emotions.
In 2018, Hatherleigh Press published The Rewired Life, a book that applies Rewired's approach to recovery to all aspects of life and provides people with practical ways to rewire their brains, change their habits, and achieve their goals. The Rewired Life has been praised by experts in the field as an “honest,” “inspirational,” and “authentic” book that offers “something for everyone.”
Erica is a regular contributor to online health outlets, TV news shows, and podcasts. She also conducts professional development workshops on health and wellness, and most recently delivered a series on self-care for Salesforce in the US and Canada.
Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Arizona and is a California State Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADAC)-II from UCLA.
Through her work, writing, and media appearances, Erica is dedicated to touching and changing as many lives as possible while building a healthy community.
